Dear Colleague,

When and how should researchers enlist the help of a statistician in reviewing their data? In MedEdMentoring.org's latest presentation, Donna S. Neuberg, ScD, of the Dana Farber Research Institute and Harvard School of Public Health, outlines how geriatric mental health researchers can best collaborate with statisticians in producing a statistically coherent design and analysis plan, which should be at the core of any solid research proposal.

On the other hand, researchers may sometimes want to enlist the help of their peers, whether for mentoring advice, time management skills, or getting the most from professional organization memberships. The MedEdMentoring forum, located in our new Community section, is your place to sound off on issues relating to geriatric mental health research. To start or join in on a conversation, click
