Dear Colleague,

Welcome to the first monthly eZine highlighting what’s new on
www.MedEdMentoring.org. This NIMH-funded resource for mentoring and career development needs offers free tools to those seeking to launch and maintain a successful career in geriatric mental health research. There is also content applicable to general mentoring and other areas of mental health training and career development. Mentees, mentors, and mentors-in-training will be able to use these tools for their career development and mentoring-related needs.

Please take some time to check the vast array of resources offered in various sections of this Web site. A good starting point might be the brief self-running multimedia demo which provides an overview
(click here to start the 4-minute demo). Please also tell your colleagues about this resource. We appreciate your feedback and suggestions for additional content.

Sincerely,
Stephen J. Bartels, MD, MS; Martha L. Bruce, PhD, MPH; Maureen Halpain, MS; Barry D. Lebowitz, PhD; Enid Light, PhD.; Charles F. Reynolds III, MD; Gwenn Smith, PhD; Joel E. Streim, MD; Jürgen Unützer, MD, MPH, MA
